Our Story
BD Online Quran Classes was founded in 2025 to make private, one-to-one Quran learning more accessible to students in Bangladesh and Bangladeshi families living abroad. The academy was built around a simple idea: every student learns differently and should receive the time, attention, and guidance needed to progress.
We saw that group classes do not always work equally well for every learner. Some students understand new lessons quickly, while others need more explanation, repetition, and individual correction. In a group setting, students who need extra time may struggle to keep pace. This inspired us to focus on personalized one-to-one Quran classes where teachers can adapt lessons to each student’s ability and learning speed.
We also wanted to support Bangladeshi families living in Europe and other parts of the world. Many children from Bengali families are more comfortable speaking English, while others benefit from teachers who can communicate in both Bengali and English. Our goal is to connect each student with a suitable teacher based on language, learning needs, and preferred class time.
To support different students and families, we have built a growing team of 100+ male and female teachers, including teachers with diverse Quranic and Islamic educational backgrounds and Al-Azhar University experience. Our flexible scheduling and round-the-clock support help international students arrange classes around different time zones and daily routines.
From the beginning, our focus has been clear: provide quality Quran education, personal attention, supportive service, and accessible learning options without compromising the standard of teaching.

Understand the Student's Current Level
Effective learning begins with understanding where the student is starting. Teachers identify the learner’s current ability, previous Quran learning experience, areas of difficulty, and intended goals. A beginner may need to build a foundation with Noorani Qaida, while another student may require focused support with Quran recitation, Tajweed, or memorization.
Set a Clear Learning Direction
Based on the student’s needs, the teacher establishes a suitable learning direction and lesson focus. This helps keep classes purposeful and prevents students from moving to advanced material before developing the necessary foundational skills.
Teach, Listen, and Correct
During live one-to-one classes, students actively read, recite, or practice with their teacher. Teachers listen carefully, identify mistakes, explain corrections, and allow students to repeat the lesson until the concept or recitation becomes clearer. Tajweed and pronunciation corrections are applied through practical recitation rather than explanation alone.

Our teachers specialize in Noorani Qaida, Quran Reading with Tajweed, Advanced Tajweed, Quran Memorization (Hifz), Quran Translation and Tafsir, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, and Ijazah courses. Students can therefore learn with a teacher whose knowledge and teaching focus are relevant to their chosen course.
Language is also an important part of effective online learning. Our team includes teachers who can teach in Bengali, English, or a combination of both. This is particularly helpful for students from Bangladeshi families living abroad who may understand English more comfortably while still wanting to communicate in Bengali.
We also recognize that some students or families prefer a male or female Quran teacher. Our teaching team includes both, giving learners greater choice when arranging their classes.
